Biography Patrick Zeller grew up in the foothills of Litchfield, Connecticut. After studying classical theatre and dance at Canterbury School in New Milford, Connecticut he matriculated to Emerson College in Boston where he received his Bachelors degree in Fine Arts for Theatre and Acting. He spent four months abroad in The Netherlands studying acting, movement and Art History. Also while training at Emerson he studied under Kristin Linklater (Author, Freeing the Natural Voice), Tony Simotes (Artistic Director, Shakespeare & Company) and Ron Jenkins (Translator, The Collected Plays of Dario Fo).After a year of backpacking around the U.S. he continued on to work and study with Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, Massachusetts where a solid grounding in classical text, voice and movement and a role in Shakespeare & Company's Boston production of The Mysteries initiated him into the world of professional theatre. From an extensive list of contacts and connections built in New England work continued to flow from Regional Theatre, Film and Television. Patrick relocated to New York City in August of 2002 where he began booking bigger projects and weightier roles. Wide screen appearances include Flight to Savannah (Winner at the Westchester Film Festival and NYUs First Run Festival), End of the Spear (winner of the Heartland Film Festival) and No Reservations (Directed by Scott Hicks, Shine).In 2002 Patrick founded a documentary theatre ensemble, the Present Tense Theater Project, inspired by the work of theatre artists: Caryl Churchill, Shakespeare, Euripedes, Boal and Cornerstone Theatre Company. The works of author/environmentalist Daniel Quinn and physicist Fritjof Capra inspired the ensemble to apply systems thinking to story-telling. Their novel approach to play development lent itself to encouraging dialogue between communities with contradicting and conflicting perspectives. PTTP staged and produced two original full length plays, Monster in 2004 and Cold in 2006.In 2008 Patrick married fellow ensemble member Emily Lefren-Brown and headed for Hollywood. He's currently studying at Warner Loughlin Studios. Recent projects include a feature with Bronson Pinchot (Perfect Strangers) and Paige Howard (Adventureland), as well as episodes of Medium, All My Children and Young & the Restless.On September 4, 2011 Patrick took on the greatest role of his life, fatherhood. He and Emily welcomed a beautiful little girl to planet Earth by way of the UCLA Medical Center: 7 lbs, 7oz., 19in., 10 fingers, 10 toes.

He plays a single father who moves to LA with his young son to become an actor. Patrick will be driving to desert to get tied up in a cave and stabbed repeatedly on Saturday. Keep your eye out for a heart wrenching and chaotic moment as he attempts to keep Patricia Arquette away from a violent crime scene. 9/1/10 Patrick shot a feature film this summer with Bronson Pinchot, Rick Faugno, Paige Howard and a gaggle of the funniest, most talented people ever assembled in upstate New York. Directed by Sean Fallon and Charlotte Barrett the film is titled Virgin Alexander. He retains his East coast representation with Penny Luedtke at the Luedtke Agency. 8/1/09 Upon relocating to Los Angeles Patrick immediately picked up West Coast Representation with Melody Faith Clarke Currzon at Starbright Management. Hes also booked several industrials with friend and fellow Emersonian Jakob White at LRN. 10/18/08 Just Married! 3/30/08 Patrick just wrapped up a run of Richard Greenbergs The American Plan at The Old Globe Theatre in San Diego, CA. Bob Verni of Variety called the playing impeccable. Zeller offsets his McDreamy aura with the faintest hint of incompleteness and The LA Times Charles McNulty calls him dreamy and seductive. Patrick shot an episode of Law and Order in December 07. He plays master of the universe Sean Witt, caught in a web of dirty money and political intrigue. The episode is titled Political Animal. Check your Tivos regularly and you might catch it. At his regular EMT gig on One Life to Live Patrick shares a frustrated moment when hes compelled to bring in an intoxicated Contract Player. There are sick people who really need our help out there. Look for it in May. 8/16/07 Flight to Savannah, in which Patrick portrays a disgruntled and dapperly dressed bridegroom, takes home several festival awards this summer: At the First Run Festival in New York City, the Carl Lerner award for Best Film with a Social Significance as well as Best Sound Design. And at the Westchester Film Festival it captures Best Student Short. Patrick changes careers in All My Childrens Pine Valley from Bailiff to Forensic Technician. Look for him giving back some attitude when an angry and worried mother tells him how to do his job. He also reprises his role on As the World Turns as Americas favorite Orderly this August.5/10/07Patrick reunites with Gabe Vaughan (Maine Shakespeare Festival 2000), Jimmy Egan (Northern Stage 2000) and Mark Cirnigliaro (Present Tense Theater Project 2003-2006) in William Hollands Wee Man. Catch it on Theatre Row at the Wonderland Theatre Festival near the end of this month. 2/14/07 You can catch Patrick this Spring in the Season (possibly Series) Finale of Six Degrees. Theres a serial killer on the loose in All My Childrens Pine Valley. No one is sure who the mysterious figure is, not even the writers. A cryptic set of Gloved Hands are poisoning peanut butter, firing rifles and marking locals for dead by tying ribbons on their front doors. Watch Patricks perfect digits strike terror into the heart of ABC daytime. 10/29/06 Catch Patrick this month in SoHo at the Havel Festival. Running through the month of November, the festival celebrates the life and work of Vaclav Havel, playwright and former President of the post-Soviet Czech Republic. Patrick plays Albert in Redevelopment , an idealistic young architect who discovers the world won't always live up to our own precious standards.He also finished shooting No Reservations featuring Catherine Zeta Jones and Patricia Clarkson. In it he plays husband to a very pregnant Jenny Wade. Directed by Scott Hicks (Shine 1996), look for its release in Spring 2007.8/21/06 Be on the look out for a very blonde and wicked excited to be on prime time Patrick in Kidnapped, a new series this Fall on NBC. Patrick is on the second episode in a scene with Delroy Lindo and Jeremy Sisto. The episode is scheduled for Wednesday September 27th 10pm EST. Your Favorite Hospital Orderly returns Friday September 29th to As the World Turns. When our Oakville heroes fear a missing loved one may be the corpse on Patricks gurney he does his best to comfort the group of frightened Daytime celebrities. 4/2005 End of the Spear captures the Grand Prize for Dramatic Feature at the Heartland Film Festival.PreviousPatrick will be reprising the role of Antipholus of Syracuse in the New York Classical Theatre production of Comedy of Errors. If anyone can care for the feeble and broken minded with tender attentiveness and the perfect posture that only Alexander training can provide Patrick can. This March Patrick played Leahs Husband in Scott Hicks new remake of the 2001 German restaurant pic, Mostly Martha. The film stars Catherine Zeta Jones, Patricia Clarkson, Aaron Eckhart and Jenny Wade. Patrick plays husband to the very pregnant Jenny Wade. The DVD for End of the Spear will be available for sale June, 2006. Patrick just closed another successful production with Present Tense Theater Project as River, a human manifestation of a less than benevolent river god. The play, Cold, brought audiences together to discuss issues of faith, sacrifice, loss and community. The interaction among the audience and cast was fascinating and inspiring.
